Turtle Run Winery is on our radar

posted Saturday, 21 April 2007

Hey - we've been checking out wineries in the area and I'm flabbergasted by the quality of wines our local producers are making.
Meet Jim Pfeiffer, owner of Turtle Run Winery. Photograph of Jim Pfeiffer

Visiting Turtle Run Winery provides you not only with insight as to how wine is made but the pleasurable experience of wine tasting.
Most weekends, Jim and Laura work with the wines. In the fall, they'll be crushing the grapes or sampling the new fermentations. In winter and spring, they may be filtering or blending. During the early summer months, you can bet they're bottling.
They’ll be glad to tell you what’s happening and if the timing is right, they’ll invite you to taste the wines in process. This openness allows Jim and Laura to create a detailed interactive experience just for you.
To learn more about Turtle Run Winery, check us out online at www.turtlerunwinery.com or call us at (812) 952-2650.
