Computers don't like spaces, symbols, apostrophes, exclamation points, quotes or hyphens. The one notable exception to that rule are underscores, like joe_smith.htm. Computers and software can handle that, but that's about it.
When you name a file or save a document or photo, always save it as either joesmith.htm or joe_smith.htm.
